WBSO Budget for 2026 Announced. Apply today

On 16 Sep 2025, Dutch Budget Day (Prinsjesdag), the Dutch caretaker government (demissionair kabinet) released its tax plan for 2026 and some other tax-related legislative proposals.

WBSO Changes for 2026

With respect to the WBSO the following revisions were made for next year:

• €1.817 billion will be available for the WBSO in 2026. This is an increase from the €1.582 billion from this year.
• The same funding parameters apply in 2026 as in 2025. (36% up to €380,000, 50% for starters. 16% thereafter)
